Protected: Web Designs – Sweetwater

While I primarily work on internal tools at Sweetwater, I have done design work for the website as well. The most notable of which is our new checkout process that is currently in an A/B/C test setup, currently released to a small percentage of users as we continue to iterate and improve.

As is very common in this line of work, I have a number of designs that I have made that are still waiting to actually be prioritized and built on the site. One of my favorites is the Cable Finder redesign, a configurator/filter experience for users looking for a cable with very specific connectors or lengths. I hope it someday gets to see the light of day, but, for now, it lives solely in Figma, this portfolio, and my dreams.

Because of the relationships I formed with stakeholders over the course of the Rental Manager project, I was asked for by name to redesign the website’s landing pages for band and orchestra rentals. The previous design of this page was acceptable according to the stakeholders, but it was dated and didn’t really match with the printed material that sales and marketing were using. I worked closely with these teams to create something that was updated to the new Sugar Design System styles while still meshing well with existing print design.

The guitar workshop page was another recent redesign in the attempt to update more of the website to our new design system.
